So, last Thursday came and went, without a Thankful Thursday. It wasn't that I was not Thankful, but that I was so busy that I just totally missed the fact that Thursday had come and gone, and I had not posted. I think that is the first time I've done that since I started Thankful Thursday! I hope it is the last! I truly am Thankful. I couldn't leave last week out, so I have added it to this week instead. In the spirit of Baseball season, we will say that this week is a double header.
*For an awesome Bible Study
*For a relaxing Saturday
*For God holding off the rain long enough for us to have a beautiful sunrise service
*For having to add chairs in the sanctuary, because there were not enough seats for everyone :-)!
*For an awesome choir presentation and sermon
*For learning something about communicating with my children
*For a great Sunday night service
*For a good Monday back at work
*For three precious young ladies in an important Bible study/parenting class
*For great news for a sweet couple
*For our children seeing that hard work pays off
*For a sweet unexpected gift for our youngest princess
*For struggles that make us stronger
*For things that stretch us as people and help us to learn more about ourselves and make us lean more heavily upon God
*For a friend's trust
*For fun family times
*For much needed rest
*For a fun morning for the youngest princess with a friend
*For my baby reacting sweetly when she was purposefully wronged
*For laughter with our oldest two children, and our "part-time child"
*For a beautiful day
*For an awesome day in the Lord's house
*For time to play outside with our girls
*For a chance to watch the young prince play baseball
*For laughter with a friend
*For the oldest princess and her discernment
*For lessons learned, even if the hard way
*For a safe trip for Poppy
*For a beautiful, healthy baby girl born to a wonderful family
*For promises from God's Word
*For friends who visited with us on Wednesday night, and made our night
For all these things, and so very many more, I am thankful to the Lord.
