Two Tiaras and a Sword

January 23, 2016

It has pretty much been just a regular Saturday at home.  Full of regular Saturday stuff.  Resting up and  catching up on the house a little.  I got up before everyone else and used the quiet time to watch the First 5 weekend wrap up (which brought out some really interesting facts about hyssop) and to get my Exodus study done.

The Youngest Princess came home from her sleepover and promptly fell fast asleep.  We woke her up in time to go to cheer practice.

The Oldest Princess had a date with her friend D and another couple.  They went to eat and then went bowling.

The Young Prince went outside with his camera and got several really good shots.

My Prince left to take the Young Prince to a birthday party at the bowling alley.

The Youngest Princess got home and she and I had some time to snuggle.  I suggested that we go ahead and read Mandie before everyone else got home.  So we did.  Then she continued reading Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.  At one point she said, "I think...I...like...reading."  Woo Hoo!!!  Yes!  That makes me happy! She also let me know that her tummy was NOT happy with her.  I am praying it is just something she ate, and not a stomach bug.

One of the Young Princes's friend's dad said he would bring him home from the bowling Birthday party.  We were very thankful for that. Other than that, not much that was noteworthy happened today.  So, in place of words, I give you a few pictures from the week.

A few pictures of our shoe box book reports.

Cheering for our boys as they come out for their game.

Now My Prince is studying for tomorrow, and the Youngest Princess is reading poems.  The Young Prince just walked in the door.  I thought I would type this up while we are waiting on the Oldest Princess to get home.  When she gets home, we will have our family devotions and prayer time, and then get some sleep.

Until tomorrow...
